Thai Nguyen

Thai Nguyen, 36, formerly of Jewell, died suddenly of a heart attack of April 28, 1994.

Thai was born in Vietnam and he with his family came to Jewell in 1974 sponsored by Bethesda Lutheran Church. He and his siblings attended school here and Thai worked at Jewell Distributing.

At Christmas Thai wrote Bethesda that it had been 20 years since he came to Jewell, and because he and his family think of Jewell as "home" and miss all the kind people here, he planned to come to Jewell in 1994 for a visit.

Thai leaves to mourn his passing: his wife and four children, 6 brothers, 3 sisters, his parents, all living in Texas, and many friends, including those in Jewell.
