Edna Mae Green Nicoson

Edna Mae Nicoson passed away November 1, 1997 at the Le Foyer Board and Care Home after a five year illness with Alzheimers.

Edna Mae was born in Jewell, Iowa to Elmer and Dora Green on July 26, 1923. She married Robert Orion Nicoson on July 16, 1943. Surviving are their two children Pamela Escalante and David Nicoson and their five grandchildren: Carolina, Jose, Travis, Katrina, Nathan and one brother Wilbur Green. Preceding her in death are her parents, one sister Arlene Stout and two brothers Ralph and Cass Green and her husband Bob Nicoson.

Edna Mae spent her early years in Jewell, graduating from Jewell High School in 1940. In 1958 the family moved to La Crescenta, CA where they lived until retirement in Escondido. After the death of her husband she returned to La Crescenta where she enjoyed the fellowship of La Crescenta First Baptist Church.

Interment was at Forest Lanes, Hollywood Hills, CA.
