Pearl B Knox

A former Algona lady, Pearl B. Knox, 89, died Thursday, July 22, at White Community Hospital in Aurora, Minn.

Funeral service for her was at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Ziemet-Moeglein Funeral Home there with committal service at a later date in the Buffalo Township Cemetery.

Pearl Meyer was born at Titonka March 6, 1893. She was married to Harry Hansen and the couple lived in the Burt-Titonka area where they farmed. Mr. Hansen died and she later married Ben Knox. they lived at Thor where Mr. Knox died and Pearl moved to Algona for several years. She most recently had been a resident at the Skilled Nursing Facility in Aurora, Minn.

Surviving is one son, Allen Knox of White Lakes, Minn. There are 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her 2 husbands and 2 sons, Claire and Kenneth, preceded her in death.
