Earl F Dalbey, 62, Former Local Man, Dies at Webster City. Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at the Foster Funeral home in Webster City for Earl F. Dalbey, 62, who passed away Sunday night at the Hamilton county hospital. Rev. D. C. Kooy officiated, and burial was made in Graceland cemetery in Webster City.

Mr. Dalbey had been in poor health for several years, but had been seriously ill only since last Wednesday night when he sufered a stroke.

He was the son of Frank and Roxanna (Everett) Dalbey, pioneers of the Ellsworth community, and was born Dec. 15, 1887 on the Dalbey farm, now owned and operated by Ole Danielson, three miles north and one-half mile east of town. He was reared in this community and attended the school in his district.

On June 5, 1907 he was united in marriage to Cora Thompson, who survives him. The family lived on the Dalbey farm until 1917 when they moved to Jewell where Mr. Dalbey was employed as a mechanic in the Ford garage.

In 1922 they moved to Webster City where he was employed as a mechanic at the Ford garage and also was employed in county maintenance work and later was employed at the Hart-Carter factory.

He was preceded in death by one son, Raymond Francis, and one daughter, Corliss Fern, and by his parents.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Milo Dalbey; and five daughters, Mrs. Ruby Burns, Mrs. Lodean Flannagan, Mrs. Sylvia Stinnett, all of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Cleo Hendriks of San Francisco, and Mrs. Rose Marie Darnell of Fort Dodge.

He also leaves four granddaughters; two brothers, Joel Dalbey of Greeley, Colo., and Clyde Dalbey of Ellsworth; and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Keesee, also of Ellsworth.
