Clara Brandt, 73, Randall, died of cancer, Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Services were held Friday, Sept. 23, at Bethel Lutheran Church, Story City, with the Rev. Larry Tantow officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Randall.
Clara Okland was born Sept. 24, 1909, in Hamilton County to Halvor and Cora Okland. She lived in Ames until she married Floyd Brandt on April 24, 1950. They lived in St. Paul, Minn., until 1960 and then in Chippewa Falls, Wis., until 1976 when they moved to Randall.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd of Randall; a sister, Cleone Ness of Story City; and a brother, Earl Okland of Story City.
