I found this Obit for Ada Mae Beeman Rude mixed with my family Obits. The year 1964 was written in pencil at the bottom of the page. I assume that is the year she died. The last sentence is missing....I think it says..She served as Justice of the...

Requiem high mass for Mrs. Ray Rude, 65, longtime Jewell resident, was celebrated by Father Joseph Griffin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Good Shepherd Catholic church with burial in the Evergreen cemetery. Rosary was said at 8:00 Tuesday evening at the Becker Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rude died late Saturday evening at the Story City hospital where she had been a patient the past six months. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Pallbearers were Ralph Thoreson, George Abell, Howard Danielson, Frank Wicklein, Eddie Caruth and Glen Maxon.

Ada Mae Rude, daughter of Charles E. and Adda Beeman, was born April 14, 1899, at Marshalltown. She resided there until she was five and her family moved to Cedar Rapids where she lived for 16 years. She attended Coe college at Cedar Rapids, for four years.

She was united in mariage Nov. 6, 1920 at Cedar Rapids to Thaddeus Raymond Rude. They lived in Ellsworth a total of 18 years. Fort Dodge nine years and Jewell 17 years.

Surviving are her children: Ray Rude, Jr. and Wayne Rude of Ellsworth; Mrs. Oswald Danielson and Charles Rude of Jewell; one brother, John A. Beeman of Studio City, Calif. and 17 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and parents

Mrs. Rude was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic church; the Rosary Society; the Legion Auxiliary, being a past County president and a member of tRural Workers, Rebekah Lodge and Rebeckah Circle.
