I found this obit mixed in with my family obits, I am related through Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kolling listed as relatives.... but hope someone finds this info helpful.

Nels Olson, one of the old settlers of Randall, passed away at his home northwest of town Friday morning afer a few hours of illness. Mr. Olson was born in Yilland, Denmark on October 22, 1841 and passed away at Randall, Iowa, April 17, 1925 at the age if 83 years. He came to America with his wife and six children in 1881. He has lived on his farm practically all the time since he came to this country. His wife died two years ago the 17th of May, and since that time, he has made his home with his son, Chris Olson.

He seemed to be hear to his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, and when the messenger came to bear hime to the Heavenly home he was ready to go. When we by faith have Christ dwelling in our hearts, how happy we are to go and dwell with hime in that Heavenly home that he has prepared for us.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the home at one o'clock, and at two o'oclock at the Lutheran church at Randall, by Rev. G.O. Paulsrud, and he was laid to rest in Mt. Olive cemetery. He leaves to mourn his departure, ten children. They are: Peter Olson of Elmore, Minn., Mrs. N.S. Nelson of Des Moines, Martin Olson of Randall, Mrs. Carl Egland and Sam Olson of Jewell, Mrs. Mary Allie of Story City, Iowa, John Olson of Des Moines, Mrs. Carl Thoreson of Ames, Nels P. Olson and Chris Olson of Randall, Iowa. He also leaves forty-four grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

He had been a good father to his children. Many sorrowing relatives and friends were at the sad rite, and beautiful floral tributes expressed the deep sympathy in this hour of sorrow.

The out of town relatives who were present were: Peter Olson, of Elmore, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. N.S. Nelson and daughter, Esther, and son, Elias, and John Olson of Des Moines, Mrs Mary Allie of Story City, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Thoreson and daughter, Hazel, and son Levi of Ames, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eland aned sons, Leonard and Casper of Jewell. Mr. and Mrs Glen Stark of Stanhope, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Olson and children of Jewell, Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson and sons, Anton, Peter and Carl of Jewell, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kolling and children of Jewell, Mrs Mary House and Mildred and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Johnson of Jewell.
