DIED AS A RESULT OF AN ACCIDENT

W.K. Staufer of Blairsburg Passes Away Week After Being Fatally Injured.

W. K. Stoufer of Blairsburg, who sustained a stroke of paralysis Saturday, August 14, 1910 passed away yesterday at the home of his son-in-law, James Rairdin south of Blairsburg. He was 57 years of age and leaves a wife and several children to mourn his death.

He was a retired farmer and one of the highly respected citizens of the village. A week ago last Saturday he went to his son-in-laws place, a few minutes south of Blairsburg to help stack oats. While in the act of pitching a bundle from the wagon to the top of the stack, he lost his footing and fell to the ground. He suffered almost total paralysis and lingered with but a faint spark of life until yesterday when he succumed.

The funeral will be held from the family home in Blairsburg tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will take place in the Blairsburg Cemetery.
