FORMER ELLSWORTH RESIDENT DIES: MRS. ANN HILLESTAD

Mrs. Ann Hillestad, 86, died Saturday, Jan. 18 at Bethany Manor at Story City. She was formerly from Ellsworth but had moved to Aurora, Ill. in 1924, returning to Story City about a year ago.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, at the Becker Funeral Home with the Rev. Harvey Sigurdson officiating and with burial in the Homewood Cemetery at Ellsworth.

Anne Olson, daughter of Ole H. and Nellie Tilleson Olson, was born Dec. 23, 1887 at Ellsworth.

She was married in Feb.26, 1913 at Ellsworth to Ed Hillestad who preceded her in death in March, 1934.

She was preceded in death by three children, in addition to her husband,

Surviving are four brothers, Omer Olson of Bethany Manor; Arthur Olson, Ellsworth, Oscar Olson, Escandido, Calif. and Lawrence Olson of Aurora, Ill., one sister, Mrs. Cecil Bruner of Ellsworth and several nieces and nephews.
