Fleur-Robie Wedding at Ames

Miss Vivian Fleur and Mr. Millard Robie surprised their friends here by being quietly married at the Methodist parsonage in Ames, Monday evening, at 7 o'clock. Dr. H. Morgan, of the Methodist church, officiated.

Both are prominent young people of Hamilton county. Mrs. Robie received her high school education in Clarion, and for the past two years has made her home with her brother, Clifford Fleur.

Mr. Robie, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Robie, of Galt, has spent the past two years farming, since his graduation from the Blairsburg Consolidated school.

The young people were attended by Miss Mildred Stafford and Mr. George Fleur, of Blairsburg.

The bride wore a suit of blue crepe, with white accessories to match. Her attendant, Miss Mildred Stafford, wore a yellow crepe with the white accessories.

Following the ceremony they went to the Memorial Union, where a wedding dinner was served.

After spending a few days here with relatives they left Wednesday morning for Caspar, Wyo., where Mr. Robie has a position with his uncle.

Undated, from old scrapbook.
