Dorene Janet (Gilliam) Hubbard, 69, of Menlo, Iowa passed away Friday, October 21 at her home with her family by her side after her battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 25 at the First Congregational Church in Stuart. A gathering of friends and family/Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 24 at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial will follow the services at South Oak Grove Cemetery in Stuart. Memorial contributions may be made in Dorene's name to Hospice of Central Iowa, in care of Johnson Family Funeral Home, PO Box 246 Stuart, Iowa 50250. Dorene leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Tony Cass of Denver, Colorado; Robin (Martin) Volz of Adel, Iowa; Lisa (Randy) Cornelison of Booneville, Iowa; sisters, Shirley (Elvin) Breach of Atlantic, Iowa; twin- sister Doris (Jim) Thomas of West Des Moines, Iowa; Carolyn Miller of Casey, Iowa; grandchild Bailey (Ty) Luellen, Lindsey (Rocky) Foster, Tyler Buckner, Trevor Volz, Kara Buckner, and Trey Volz; two great-grandchildren Tucker and McCoy Luellen; aunt Darlene (Marvin) Hockenberry of Anita, Iowa and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends all of whom will miss her greatly.
