Virgil Jay Christensen, 89, of Menlo, passed away July 10, 2012 at the Community Care Center in Stuart, after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation service will be held Friday, July 13, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m., at Johnson Family Funeral Home-Stuart. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stuart Care Center Hospice Room in care of Johnson Family Funeral Home, Box 246, Stuart, IA 50250.
