Mary Olive (Dolly) McCool Hutchinson, daughter of John W and Lottie Idella McCool, the tenth child of a family of 12, was born in Guthrie County on August 1, 1883, and passed away at the Guthrie County Hospital on September 12, 1973 at the age if 90.
In 1903, she was united in marriage to Clark Robert Hutchinson. The family resided on a farm in Union Township for many years where they were active participants in the community life.
Following the death of the husband in 1938 she moved to Coon Rapids, and later to her home in Bayard. For the past three years she has resided at the Bayard Care Center.
Dolly Hutchinson is survived by a daughter, Beulah, Mrs. Milo Cretsinger of near Bayard, a sister, Mrs. Gladys McCord of Indianola, five grandsons, nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends and neighbors.
Memorial services will be Friday, at 11 am at the Bayard United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev Wilbur R Watkins assisted by the Rev A Keith Hauser with burial in the Highland cemetery.
