Final rites for Elmer F. Pierce, 86 of Guthrie Center were held from the First Christian Church in Guthrie Center Wednesday at 1:30 pm Rev Jerry Palmer officiated.
A retired county road worker, Mr. Pierce was a well known and longtime resident of Guthrie Center. He died October 31 in the Guthrie County Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel, and daughters, Lucille and Verlene and a son, Ronald. There are five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and sisters, Ina Smith and Mrs. Ross Scott.
