William Earl Hick, 66 longtime farmer in the Guthrie Center community, died October 26 at the Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
Final rites for Mr. Hick, a Coon Rapids native, were held Saturday at 2 pm from the United Methodist Church in Guthrie Center. The officiating ministers were Rev Richard Layman and Rev Robert Shreve. Interment was made in the Orange Township Cemetery.
Son of William and Anna Johnson Hick, he was born January 9, 1911. He is survived by his wife, Irene and sons Dean of Rippey, Gene of Guthrie Center and Wayne of Perry. There are ten surviving grandchildren.
