Harley Crawley, 24 died December 14, 1911 lived near Glendon, parents were Chas
Crawley, old settlers of that part of the county, he leaves a young wife, had no

children. One of the saddest accidents that ever happened in this vicinity
occurred last Thursday, at the Charlie Crawley home while sawing wood, the drive

belt came off the saw,Harley was stepping around to stop the engine in some way
got his foot entangled in the belt, which threw him over the engine, breaking
his leg and bruising him quite seriously, other ways. Dr. Thomas of Guthrie
Center and Dr. Crosby of Stuart were called. He passed away without regaining
consciousness. The funeral was held Thursday Dec. 21
