Ackley -- Grundy County?

Berend Jacob Braak brought his wife Sievertje, 1 small son and a baby daughter to Ackley, IA in about 1873. My grandmother was born to them in 1875 in Ackley -- Grundy County. ?? Where do I look to find her birth record? The son died shortly after they arrived in 1873 and is buried in or near Ackley. Does anyone know where I might find where he was buried? They lived in the Ackley/Grundy Co. area until about 1883 when they moved to SD.
