I found great success in the Grundy Library!! They have obits indexed in binders and then you can look them up on microfilm and their reader/copier is connected to a computer that allows you to scan the image and e-mail it to yourself! It's WONDERFUL!! If you don't live in the area (I don't or I would help you) and you don't mind paying for some help I'm thinking there may be someone who could do it and e-mail the obits to you. You could check the library and ask if there is anyone who would do that.
Sometimes they don't have the microfilm but they also have a lot of obits cut from the newspapers and filed in the vertical file that you can copy on the copier there. The librarians are wonderful and very helpful!! Give it a try!
