KIEWIET, KUIPER, ETC

Grandfather, Geert (George) Kiewiet came from Midwolda, Netherlands to Grundy Center, Iowa to live/work with brother in law (Mentko Grimmius) & sister (Jantje Kiewiet). He met & married my Grandmother (1917), Harmke (Harriet) Kuiper who also came from Netherlands with her family Mattheus/Elizabeth Kuiper & several siblings ranging in age from very small to adult, working on a farm for their passage fares (? we think).

My grandparents had 6 of their 8 children while in Iowa, then moved to Kalamazoo County, Michigan. Am very glad to have finally found this site.Any info greatly appreciated as we are quite curious about Iowa relatives. Thank you.
