Searching for descendents of Jacob, John & Peter Kauth from Prussia to Ia 1869-70. Jacob married Elizabeth Reuter[?] Catholic church in Waterloo. 1880 Blackhawk co. census shows Jacob, Elizabeth, children, and brothers Peter & John. Some of J & E's children born Jessup, Eagle Center, Dike, rural Grundy & Blackhawk counties. Dau. Emma Murphy & others have descendents in the area of Reinbeck,Cedar Falls, Dike. Not sure what happened to Peter & John after 1880. Jacob & Elizabeth moved east to McLean Co, IL ca 1890.
