Hi Ralph.
Thomas Townsend is son of Thomas Townsend b 15 February 1835 Toronto Twp.,ON d 26 February 1917 Grundy Center, Grundy, Iowa, USA
who married on ? date at ? place
Margaret Robertson b Abt. 1835 Scotland d 23 August 1912.
They had 12 children all together. I have more on the children and on the parents and siblings of Thomas but for now will send by e-mail reports on the 3 children that appear to be connected.

The family is listed on 1881 census.
Sometime between 1881 and 1900 they immigrated to Iowa along with other Townsends. For some reason Thomas body was brought back after he died 26 February 1917 Grundy Center, Grundy, Iowa, USA and he was apparaently buried abt 8 months later on 11 November 1918 in a yet to be ascertained cemetery in Hapurhay, Seaforth, ON, Canada.
