Mrs. Art Meester Dies Suddenly of Heart Attack

Mrs. Arthur Meester died suddenly about 10:30 Friday night at her home in Holland following a heart attack. Shortly after ten o'clock Mrs. Meester told her husband that she was going downstairs to take a shower bath before going to bed. Her husband then went to bed. He fell asleep suddenly and did not awaken until four o'clock the next mourning. He hastened downstairs and found his wife lying on the floor. He summoned a doctor at once, who found Mrs. Meester had been dead several hours. County Coroner Harold Engelkes was called. He was away from home, and Deputy Sheriff Leslie Craven was sent for. Coroner Engelkes was satisfied death was due to a coronary occlusion. The body was taken to the Engelkes funeral home where it was prepared for burial. She was 27 years old.

Mrs. Meester had not previously had any heart difficulty, although she had been afflicted with diabetes since she was 9 years old. Her sudden death came as a shock to members of her family and to her many friends.
