Herman Brant of Cedar Falls Taken by Death

Herman Brandt, 73, of Route 3, Cedar Falls, died Sunday at Sartori Memorial hospital.

He was born in Germany, Nov. 20, 1876, and came to the United States at an early age. He married Grace Pruisner. She preceded him in death in 1925[sic].

Mr. Brandt was a retired farmer.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Harry Fry, Aplington, Ia.; two sons, John, Waterloo, and Menno, Cedar Falls; one half-brother, Harry Fry, Aplington; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Jungkunz Nelson funeral home. The body will be taken to Stout, Ia., immediately following for services at 2 p.m. at Gospel hall. Burial will be in Buck Grove cemetery there.
