Reka Meinders

Services for Mrs. Reka Meinders, 83 of 808 Conger Street, Waterloo will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Charles Birchmeir officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center, Grundy Co., Iowa.

Mrs. Meinders, died at 9:40 a.m. Friday at Schotz Hospital.

She was born in Grundy Center, August 1, 1896, the daughter of Jacob and Trena Schriver DeVoogd. On October 15, 1913 she married Henry Meinders at Grundy Center.

Survivors include two sons, Henry, of 808 1/2 Conger St. Waterloo and Richard of 532 Riehl Street Waterloo, two daughters, Mrs. Arline Snoderly of 3630 Rownd St., and Mrs. Trena Reuter of 1654 Liberty, Waterloo. 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Trena Perry of Dallas Texas, Mrs. Grace Cole of 1939 College St. and Mrs. Margaret Shuey of Boone.

Memorials may be given to St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

Friends may call at the Locke Funeral Home after noon Sunday.
