Former Farmer Near Morrison Died Thursday

Raleigh Robertson, who for several years operated a farm near Morrison, died Thursday night at his home on a farm a short distance south of Reinbeck. He was 57 years old.

Funeral services were held at the United Presbyterian church at Reinbeck Sunday afternoon with the local pastor, Rev. S. F. Sharp, officiating. Burial was in the cemetery at Morrison.

Mr. Robertson was born Aug. 24, 1881, at Cowden, Ill., son of Henry and Harriett Robertson. He came to Grundy county when a young man, about 35 years ago. On Nov. 26, 1908, he married Miss Tena Bulthuis at Morrison. After remaining in that community for five years, the family moved to a farm south of Reinbeck, which has been their home for the past 25 years. He is survived by his widow, two sons and four daughters. Mrs. Harriett Crowe, Mrs. Dorothy Gardiner and Harold Robertson, Reinbeck; Paul, Rosalyn and Kathryn, at home; also three grandchildren.
