Death of Clarence Price

Clarence Price, well known farmer living a half-mile west of Whitten, died in a Marshalltown hospital Wednesday night of last week. He was taken sick the Sunday previous with acute indigestion and later peritonitis set in which caused his death.

Mr. Price was about 46 years of age. He was living on the farm of Mrs. Irvin, and was widely known in southwest Grundy county. He leaves a wife and other relatives to mourn his death.

Funeral services were held last Saturday at the M.E. church in Whitten and interment was in the Benson cemetery.
