Mrs. Raymond Murphy Died In Waterloo

Funeral services were held last Tuesday for Mrs. Raymond Murphy, 79, of 225 W. Ridgeway Ave., Waterloo, who died on Sunday, July 29 at the Schoitz Memorial hospital. Services were in St. Edward's Catholic church with burial in St. Mary's cemetery at Dike. Mrs. Gloria Willms was vocalist.

Minne Neessen was born June 27, 1900[sic] in Grundy county, the daughter of Thomas and Enka Neessen. She married Raymond Murphy November 23, 1920 at Waterloo. He died December 30, 1974.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Darlene Lown of Minneapolis, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, also one sister, Mrs. Alice Claassen of Grundy Center.

Relatives attending the service from this area were Edna Pabst, Helen Buus, Marlys Dieken, Lucille and Steve Thomassen, Helen Claassen, and Dixie Sprain of Parkersburg.
