Former Wellsburg Man Passes Away in Minneapolis, Minn.

Harry G. Schwager, 71, of Minneapolis, formerly of Sherburn, died Saturday night at his home in Minneapolis from a heart attack.

He was born March 2, 1891 in Elm Creek township, attended Sherburn school, and spent his life as a barber at Wellsburg, until 15 years ago when he moved to Minneapolis, retiring in 1960.

He was married Nov. 29, 1911 at Wellsburg to Matilda Lutterman, who resides at Blue Earth. Besides his wife, there are five sons and a daughter, Wallace of Blue Earth; John of Fairmont; Robert of Las Vegas, N.M.; Kenneth of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Baynard of Chicago and Mrs. Albert Baudett of Stillwater. There are 12 grandchildren.

Two sisters are Mrs. Andrew Carlson of Fairmont and Mrs. Aaron Routier of San Diego, Calif.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Morgan funeral home in Sherburn with the Rev. Olen Adams of the Sherburn Baptist Church officiating. Burial in the Sherburn cemetery.
