Mrs. Ed Eggybroad Dies From Tuberculosis at Ia. City

Mrs. Ed Eggybroad died at the hospital at Iowa City last Friday from tuberculosis, with which she had been afflicted several years. She was at the Iowa City hospital for treatment for six weeks prior to her death.

Funeral services were held at Woodward, Iowa, last Sunday by the side of an eleven months' old baby who died from tuberculosis two months ago.

Mrs. Eggybroad was 32 years old. Her maiden name was Gertrude Wilcox. She made her home for several years with the Vander Werf family of German township before her marriage. She was an orphan.

Surviving relatives are the husband and four children.

Those from Wellsburg who were at the funeral at Woodward Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Eggybroad and daughter, Amelia, Ed Eggybroad and family, Mr. and Mrs. Purl Lowe, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller Jr. and Mrs. Frank Lutz. The services were held in the funeral home at Woodward.
