Heiko Kramer Dies of Heart Attack Aug. 2
Heiko G. Kramer, well known retired creamery owner, died at his home in Wellsburg last Thursday morning, Aug. 2, at 5:30 a.m., of a coronary thrombosis. Mr. Kramer was 74 years and 5 days old at the time of his death. He was born in Germany July 27, 1877, and was married to Henrietta DeVries at Aplington in 1911. He retired from business in 1941 after operating a creamery and locker plant for twenty years.
All of his married life was spent in and around Parkersburg and Wellsburg.
He leaves to mourn him, his wife, one son, Orville of Tower, Minn., and one grandchild, Pamela Kramer. His parents and four sisters preceded him in death.
Services were held Saturday, Aug. 4, 1951, at one o'clock at the Coffman Funeral Home at Grundy Center, and later at the Methodist church in Parkersburg. Rev. Oliver Smith and Rev. Paul Elliott officiated. Casketbearers were Ben Kneppe, Harley Lindaman, Bernie Lindaman, Dick Lindaman, William Lindaman and John Lindaman. Burial was made in Oak Hill cemetery, Parkersburg.
