Funeral Services Held For Joseph Kelly

Joseph Henry Kelley, 613-3rd Avenue S.W., an employee of the Cherry-Burrell Corporation for 17 years and a Cedar Rapids resident for 27 years, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29th following a long illness.

He was born April 10, 1883, in Brooklyn, New York and was married to Lena Mary Wiekman on Sept. 16, 1909, at Wellsburg.

Survivors besides his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Lillian McGruir of Aiken, Minnesota; Mrs. Rosella Maher of Solon, Iowa and Mrs. Lenora Driscoll of Cedar Rapids; a son, Joseph Kelley also of Cedar Rapids and 12 grandchildren.

The deceased was a member of the First Lutheran church. Services were conducted at the Turner Chapel on Friday, Aug. 31st. Burial was in Linwood Cemetery.
