George Doyen Died In Minn.

Funeral services were held Wednesday for George Doyen, aged 63, who died at his home on a farm near Holland, Minn., Sunday afternoon. He is survived by his wife and eight children; two sons and six daughters, all married except two daughters, and all living in the vicinity of Holland and Pipestone.

Mr. Doyen was a resident of Grundy County many years ago, and in that time was married to Miss Jessie Heidebrink, whose parents lived south of Wellsburg. Mr. and Mrs. Doyen made their first home in the house now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. William H. Lindaman. A few years later they moved to Minnesota where they have lived ever since, making occasional visits to relatives here.

The deceased was a half-brother of Fred M. Miller and Mrs. Chas. Zech, and they, accompanied by Clarence Geerdes, left early Sunday morning, reaching their brother's bedside before he passed away. Tuesday, Mrs. Fred Miller, Miss Amanda Neessen, Julius and Charles Zech drove up to Holland to attend the funeral.
