Died--Katie D. Sims was born Aug. 24th, 1882, in Knox county, Ill., and died May 21st, 1888, in Grundy county, Iowa, and was buried in Oakland cemetery the 23rd inst. The services were held in the M.E. church at Beaman. She was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sims.
