Dike--Marlyn Hulseman, 72, of Dike, died Monday, December 22, 2014, at his home.

He was born April 10, 1942 in Grundy Center, Iowa, son of Fritz and Grace (Wiltfang) Hulseman. He married Lynne Nelson on October 19, 1973 in Dike and they later divorced. He married Veronica J. Ohlson on May 4, 1989 in Cedar Falls and she preceded him in death on December 17, 2006.

He graduated from Dike High School in 1960 and owned and operated Cedar Falls Auto. He was currently serving as Worshipful Master of Honor Lodge No. 646 A.F. & A.M. in Dike.

Survived by: four daughters, Jennifer (Scott) Clow of Moorhead, MN, Rachel Wardell of Marion, Monica (Brandon) Hahn of Center Point and Veronica Hulseman of Cedar Falls; a son, Eriek (Laura) Hulseman of Spring, TX; a step-son, Francis “Butch” (Sue) Attig III of Norton Shores, MI; a step-daughter, Lisa Attig-Spears of Grand Haven, MI; thirteen grandchildren; and three sisters: Dorothy (LaVerne) Seehusen of Waverly, Frances Juchems of Steamboat Rock, and Linda (David) Preyer of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Harold Hulseman in infancy.

Services: 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Dike United Methodist Church with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Dike. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Service where there will be a 7 p.m. public Masonic service. Visitation also for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Dike Fire Department or the church.
