Christ Larsen Dies At Grundy Hospital

Christ Larsen, who lived in this community nearly all of his life, died Monday afternoon at the Grundy Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for a month. He was 70 years old.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 Thursday afternoon at the Engelkes Funeral Home in Grundy Center. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery at Dike.

Christ Larsen was born at Union Grove, Wisconsin, January 2, 1887. At the age of three years he came with his parents to Grundy county. He lived on farms in the vicinity of Dike until three years ago, after which he made his home with his nephew, Fred Lubbert. He never married.

Surviving is one brother, Pete Larsen from Racine, Wis. Three nephews and three nieces live in this vicinity.
