Cedar Falls--Elsie O. Fisher Bruhn, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, March 23, at Sartori Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

She was born May 14, 1917, in Hudson, daughter of Peter and Sena Petersen Christensen. She married Alvin Fisher Jan. 18, 1939, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. He died in September 1971. She then married Ernest Bruhn Jan. 24, 1976, in Hollywood, Calif. He died in May 1986.

Mrs. Bruhn worked at Sartori Memorial Hospital for many years and also farmed with her husband, Alvin, in the Hudson and Dike areas.

Survived by: a son, Jerry Fisher of Moville; three daughters, Barbara Lovell of Cedar Falls, Dixie Mass of Quasqueton and Patricia Lovell of Plano, Texas; two stepsons, Jim Bruhn of Cedar Falls and Larry Bruhn of New Hartford; a step daughter, Jane Christensen of Dike; nine grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Elmer Christensen of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Alma Johnson of Reno, Nev.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Earl Christensen; and three sisters, Dagney Schmidt, Thora Nielsen Christensen and Agnes Fisher Minikus.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Fredsville Lutheran Church, rural Cedar Falls, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Dike. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, and for an hour before serves Monday at the church.
