BILLMAN, STICKFORT, GOLDENSTEIN

LaPorte City--Donald W. Billman Sr., 44, of 6511 Sunnyside Road, died Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Covenant Medical Center emergency room, Waterloo, from injuries sustained in a construction accident.

He was born Oct. 6, 1952, in Cedar Falls, son of Wayne and Dorothy Stickfort Billman. He married Carol Goldenstein on April 28, 1975, in Cedar Falls.

Mr. Billman served in the military in Vietnam. He was an electrician for Feuerbach Electric and was a self-employed computer programmer.

Survived by: his wife; a son, Don Jr. of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a daughter, Tonya of Evansdale; his parents of Waterloo; his foster mother, Patricia Lavin of LaPorte City; two brothers, Darold of Derby, Kan., and Staff Sgt. Scott Billman of Camp LeJeune, N.C.; three sisters, Linda of North Dakota, and Elaine Standridge and Carol Grady, both of Chattanooga, Tenn.

Services: 1:30 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Dike. Graveside military rites will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1623 and Becker-Chapman American Legion Post 138.
