Beninga Infant Died Nov. 30

Private family graveside services are pending at the Dike Funeral Chapel for Anne Beninga, infant daughter of Vernon and Metta Beninga of Davenport. The infant died Friday about an hour after she was born. Survivors are her parents; a sister, Amy, at home; her paternal grandparents, Harlan Beninga of Dike and Mrs. Elizabeth Clapp of Dike; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Schaller of West Union; her paternal great-grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Herman Beninga of Grundy Center; her maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Fred Schaller of Waverly; and her maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Jellings of West Union. No public visitation is planned.

Services For Beninga Infant

Private family graveside services are pending at the Elmwood cemetery in Dike for Anne Beninga, infant daughter of Vernon and Metta Schaller Beninga of 3411 Kenwood Avenue, Davenport. Rev. James Hanke of the United Methodist Church of Dike will officiate.

Anne Beninga was born November 30, 1979 at 10:10 a.m. at St. Luke's Hospital in Davenport and died at 11:21 a.m. the same day.

The baby is survived by her parents; one sister, Amy, 4 years old; paternal grandfather, Harlan Beninga of rural Dike; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Clapp of Dike; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Schaller of West Union; paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Beninga of Grundy Center; maternal great-grandparents, Mrs. Fred Schaller of Waverly and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Jellings of West Union.

The Dike Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
