Dike Resident Taken Suddenly

Leo Krumlinde, age 62, died at his home Tuesday morning at 12:15 of a heart attack. He had been ill since Sunday and was to go to the hospital for x-rays Tuesday morning.

He was born April 23, 1893, in Grundy county, the son of William and Mary Krumlinde and lived in this county most of his life.

He was a veteran of World War I, and served overseas. He was a member of the Dike American Legion Post.

Mr. Krumlinde and Elizabeth Aagaard were married June 28, 1919, at Waterloo. They made their home on farms in this vicinity, with the exception of two years in Cedar Falls before coming to Dike to make their home three years ago.

Surviving are his wife; one brother, Harvey, of Floyd, Iowa; four sisters, Mrs. Walter Jacobsen, Mrs. Edith Petersen and Mrs. Wilbur Petersen all of Dike and Mrs. Marius Hansen of Cedar Falls. His parents and one sister, Mrs. Pete Erickson preceded him in death.

The body is at the Dahl Funeral Home in Cedar Falls.

Funeral services will be held at the Dahl Funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and burial will be at the Dike cemetery.
