Heart Attack Kills Harvey Johnson

Harvey Johnson, age 52, of Jackson, Mich., formerly of this vicinity, died very suddenly of a heart attack while on a business trip in Grand Rapids, Thursday. Short funeral services were held at Jackson, and the body was sent to the Dahl Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Trinity Lutheran church in Waterloo with Rev. G. E. Melohert officiating. Burial was in the cemetery at Dike.

Mr. Johnson was born July 26, 1902, son of Thomas and Lucy Johnson at Woodson, Ill. He was married Sept. 4, 1922 to Alice Wholsdorf at Lawler, Iowa. They made their home in Chicago for 19 years, later moving to Waterloo for a short time, then to Jackson, Mich., in 1948, where he was district manager of Chilton Publishing Co.

He was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran church and Masonic Lodge at Jackson. Surviving are his widow, a son, James of Cedar Falls, and daughter, Norma Jean at home, also one granddaughter in Cedar Falls, one sister, Mrs. Jake Alberts, and one brother, Thomas Johnson, both of Dike.
