Services Held For Leoti G. Hurlbut

Services for Leoti G. Hurlbut, 85, of 2212 West 12th St., Cedar Falls, were held on Monday at the First Baptist Church in Cedar Falls and burial in Elmwood Cemetery in Dike. There was a Rebekah memorial service at 7:30 p.m. on December 9th at the Richardson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hurlbut died at her home December 6, 1984.

She was born April 28, 1899 in Dike, the daughter of Fred and Marian Hall Billman. She married Dallas L. Hurlbut on January 22, 1919 in Dike. He died in November 1977.

Prior to retirement she and her husband owned and operated M&H Poultry Company.

She was Past Noble Grand of the Happy Thought Rebekah Lodge and also head of related orders.

Survivors include a son Dallas L. Hurlbut of Cedar Falls; two sisters, Marian Graham of Parkersburg and Marlys Elftman of Fort Meyers, FL, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dallas Lewis, and a daughter, Lillian Miller.
