Elmer Koch Died Sunday Morning

Elmer Koch, a former resident of the Dike and Reinbeck communities, died at his home in Waterloo at 4 o'clock Sunday morning following a heart attack. He was 56 years old.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Dike. Burial was in the Dike cemetery.

Mr. Koch was born May 2, 1907, at Reinbeck. January 5, 1933, he and Ruth Ahrendt were married at Dike. The couple had lived in Waterloo the past 23 years. He was employed at the John Deere plant in Waterloo.

Survivors include his widow; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Schmidt, Reinbeck; Mrs. Mildred Duesenburg, Iowa City, and Mrs. Edna Stoecker, Rockford, and one brother, Wesley, Hudson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
