Mary Jane Boike, 58, of 1650 Camelot Drive, No. 330, died at home Friday, Jan. 3, after a lengthy illness.

She was born April 30, 1933, in Waterloo, daughter of Leo Francis and Mable Grace Gray Miller. She married Russell Boike in June 1947 in Nashua. They were later divorced.

Ms. Boike was a waitress at the Jefferson House and was employed at Operation Threshold.

Survivors include two sons, Scott and Kevin, both of Ponca City, Okla.; two daughters, Jackie Case of Okinawa, Japan, and Pam See of Waterloo; 14 grandchildren; and two brothers, Jack Miller of Marshalltown and Jim Baker of Waterloo. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Connie Jane Boike and Robin Marie Boike.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, because of remodeling at St. Mary's, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Dike. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at The Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel-downtown. There will be a 7 p.m. Scripture service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
