Mrs. Richard East

Mrs. Richard East, 59, formerly of Waterloo, died at 2 a.m. Monday at her home in Willard, Mo. Funeral services in Willard and graveside services in Grundy Center are pending.

Mrs. East was born March 20, 1917, in Janesville, the daughter of Harold and Wilma Powers. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gordon Sampson, in 1948.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Sally Rauch of Maryland and Mrs. Sue Gritz of New Jersey; her mother, Mrs. Wilma Powers of Harrison, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Don Staley of 120 Upland Dr., and Mrs. Erwin Rader of Des Moines; a brother, Russell Powers of Harrison, Ark.
