Joe B. Smith Dies At Ames

Services for Josiah B. "Joe" Smith, 88, of Eldora, who died Wednesday, August 22, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames, were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 25, at United Methodist Church in Eldora. Burial was at East Lawn Memory Gardens in Eldora.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine, who is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Bowers of Grundy Center; two sons, Jay Smith of El Paso, TX, Loy Smith of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Grace Klemme of Des Moines; and one brother, Bob Smith of Eldora.
