Earlham--Ronald Dean Nederhoff, 58, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 29, at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel with burial at Panther Creek Cemetery. Friends may call after Noon Sunday at the funeral home where family will greet friends from 2 to 5 p.m. with a prayer service at 5 p.m.

Ron was born October 24, 1950 in Wellsburg, IA. He and his family have lived in Dallas County for over 30 years. During that time he owned and operated his own construction business. His passions included, coaching, playing and watching sports, raising Texas Longhorns, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Orton Nederhoff; children, Terry (Rhonda) Nederhoff, Tracey (Shawn Annear) Nederhoff, Trevor (Amy Wassather) Nederhoff, Trina (Travis) Stonehocker; parents, Henry and Lorraine Nederhoff; siblings, James and Janet Nederhoff; grandchildren, Broc, Cole, Allison, Samantha, Justin, Mackenna, Abigail, Gunnar, Bill, Randy, and Diana; and one great-grandchild, Dasha.
