John Newell died Friday morning at the home of his daughter Mrs. Presscott. Funeral services conducted by Rev. E. E. Hastings were held at the house Saturday. The remains were laid beside those of his wife in the Sheller cemetery in Melrose township. Mr. Newell was eighty years old.
