Mr. and Mrs. Abel E. Propst living between here and Eldora, are the parents of a nine pound son born to them Wednesday of last week.

Sunday morning people wondered at the manner in which Abe Probst conducted himself. He possessed a swagger quite uncharacteristic of himself and an unusual air of hilarity. No one was called upon to ask the reason--it came out of its self. The reason? Well Abe gave it when he had the boys guessing why his family name wouldn't run out now. He finally had to answer his own riddle so he stated that the stork had visited his home and left a peach of a baby boy which he named the Hon. Ernest Able Propst.

Little Ernest Able, the infant son of Abe Propst, died last Monday afternoon and was laid in the Sheller Cemetery the following afternoon.
