Services Saturday For Mrs. Ibach

Mrs. Mable Freed Ibach, daughter of Willis H. and Carrie Danger, was born at Thompson, Iowa, Jan. 15, 1900, and passed away last Wednesday evening, Sept. 25, at the Eldora hospital where she came from her home two days earlier.

Mabel moved with her parents to Eldora at the age of 12 and she has resided in this area thru out her remaining years.

She has been a member of the Ivester Church of the Brethren since Nov. 30, 1933, when she was baptized. She loved the church, its services and its ministries.

She was married to Leo W. Freed on Dec. 16, 1919 and to this union were born three sons and two daughters, Harvey W., Dale R., Lynn D. and Ida Marie Schwarck, all of Eldora, and Genevieve J. Reints of Wellsburg. Leo W. Freed preceded his wife in death several years ago. Besides the sons and daughters, she is survived by 11 grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.

She was a loving mother, a good homemaker, and a good friend and neighbor.

The family expresses their sincere thanks and appreciation to all who have helped in many ways during the illness and passing of their mother.

Services were held at the Ivester Church of the Brethren on Saturday, Sept. 28 with Rev. Charles Albin officiating. Interment was in the Sheller cemetery. Mrs. Kenneth Cakerice was organist. Galen Albright, soloist, sang "In the Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Pall bearers were Warren Bailey, Perry Wiley, John Essig, Arnold McAllister, Clarence Hogle, and Harvey Hinshaw. Flower ladies were Mrs. Warren Bailey, Mrs. Floyd VanTiger and Mrs. Arnold McAllister.

Orlie Freed from Anthony, Kansas and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Freed of Wichita and relatives from Hubbard, Grundy Center, Iowa Falls and Marshalltown were present at the services.
