Glenn Kinney Dies Watching Softball Game

Glenn Lewis Kinney, 48, 309 S. 6th St., died Friday night while watching a ball game at Anson Park. Dr. H. E. Sauer, Marshall County coroner, said death was of natural causes. A member of the family said Mr. Kinney had had a heart ailment.

A former employee of Truck and Farm Equipment Co., he had lived in Marshalltown three years. He was born in Grundy County and was a resident of Eldora several years. There are no close survivors.

Services, in charge of the Andrle-Creps Funeral Home at Eldora, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ivester Church of the Brethren between Grundy Center and Eldora. Burial will be in Sheller Cemetery.

Glenn Kinney Dies Watching Ball Game

Glenn Kinney who was born on a farm in Melrose township died at Marshalltown last Friday night while watching a ball game at the Anson ball park. A heart attack was given as the cause of his death. He was 48 years old.

Kinney went to Eldora after he left Grundy county where he resided several years. The past three years he resided in Marshalltown where he was employed by the Farm Equipment Company.

Funeral services were held Monday at the church at Ivester. Rev. Charles Albin was in charge of the service. Burial was in the Sheller cemetery.

The pallbearers were Robert Collins, Eric Daleske, Raymond Mitchell, Frank Mitchell, George Mathews and Gus Walton.
